November Pack Walk & Social at the USNWC Thurs 11/30/23

Thursday Night 11/30/23  *Meet at 6:30pm   Leashed Pack Walk & Social at the USNWC/  Should have great weather for this! 

1. Dave will send you a map of exact meeting location if you sign up to go

2. We will do 2-3 walking (leashed) loops around the center

3. Social after the walk: we will head into their heated building (dogs are allowed) for a social. Dogs can practice calm down-stays while we relax and have a beverage. 

*Ice Skating is now OPEN at the USNWC (in case you have kids that might want to go ice skating)

*While the building is heated, I recommend you bring something soft/warm for your dog to lay down on during the social as the floor is concrete and will still be pretty cold to the touch for the dogs. 

*Bring water/bowl/poop bags for your dog

*Bring fully charged E Collar and leash

*If needed- please be sure your dog's neck fur is shaved up well for good connetivity/communication with the E collar

*As always- when you arrive- please give at least 10' feet between you and other people/dogs. We want to teach our social butterfly dogs some impulse control and teach them to not get all jazzed up as soon as they may see other people or dogs close by and we have some dogs that need a little extra space from humans or dogs in order for them to be comfortable. 

*Only dogs that have graduated from a Board and Train program are eligible for pack events.

*USNWC has a $6 daily parking fee or $60 annual parking pass (however the parking pass is for the calendar year- not from the date you buy it)
