Pack Hike (5 dogs maximum)

What: Small Group (5 dogs maximum) Off Leash Pack Hike 

When: Sunday, May 5  7:30am - 8:45am

*Why so early? Avoid trail traffic :) The less busy a trail is - the more conducive it is to have a few well trained off leash dogs on a pack hike together. We want our dogs to enjoy some off leash freedom, but we want to do so while being as responsible and as safe as possible, so going super early AM sets us up for success and keeps things simple.

Where: River Walk, Rock Hill area * Dave will send very specific directions on a meeting location for those that sign up as there are numerous places to meet at/near the River Walk area. We will be using a pretty secluded wide open grass/dirt field for some off leash run around play time for the dogs and then do a few loops around a fairly unknown small trail (very far back within the River Walk trail area). I have actually never seen a single person or other dog on this particular trail so it's a nice secluded little trail for our pack hike!  The trail is dirt and there are some minor up and down hills but nothing significant. After the run around play session and hike, we will make the short 1 mile drive to The Grapevine Wine/Coffee Bar for a morning coffee and the dogs can relax while practicing calm downstays.
