RLSP Pack Hike

December Pack Hike!  

Location: Robert L Smith Park but I HIGHLY recommend using the following address for GPS instead of the true park address for accurate GPS directions: 1530 Little Rock Road Charlotte 28214

*This pack hike is only open to dogs that are reliably friendly with people and dogs.

*Minimum # of dogs/clients: 2 

*Maximum # of dogs/clients: 6 (including Dave's dogs, Ralphie and Sawyer so there are 4 open dog spots for clients) 

This will be a pack hike approximately 2 miles. The trail we will be using is relatively flat, very wide and fairly muddy in sections. Parks & Recreation is in the middle of turning this trail into a paved Greenway but they are a few months away from completion and it is still mostly dirt and/or crushed gravel in sectionsI. They do not work on the trail on the weekends. I highly recommend waterproof/hiking shoes or at least shoes you do not mind getting muddy as they will get muddy :) 

*Please make sure your E Collars are fully charged and dog's neck fur is shaved up if necessary

*Please keep your dog ON leash when arriving and always give other clients and dogs at least 10' of distance

*Feel free to bring your long line/ drag line if you do not have a lot of Adventure Off Leash Hiking experience with your dog
